How to play Hide and Seek?

Move carefully with the mouse
Mouse movement gives you direct control over your character, so small and controlled movements can be useful when you are hiding. Avoid unnecessary movement when you have already found a safe position. Staying still at the right moment can make it harder for the seeker to notice you.
When you need to change your position, try to move when the seeker is far away or facing another direction. This gives you a better opportunity to reach another hiding place without being detected.
Watch the seeker's movement
The seeker is the biggest danger during each round. Keep track of their position and avoid staying in areas where they can easily see you. If the seeker starts moving toward your location, prepare to move before they get too close.
Learning the seeker's movement pattern can also help you make better decisions. Instead of reacting at the last second, think about where they are likely to go next and choose a hiding place accordingly.
What is your mission?
The main mission in Hide and Seek is to stay hidden from the seeker until the required time has passed. You must avoid appearing within their field of view and use the environment to protect your position.
Survival is more important than constantly moving. If you find a good hiding location, there may be no reason to leave it unless the seeker approaches. Every unnecessary movement creates another opportunity for you to be spotted.
Stay out of the seeker's sight
The most important rule is to avoid being seen. Try to position your character behind objects, around corners, or in other areas where the seeker has difficulty spotting you.
A good hiding place should give you enough protection while also allowing you to escape if necessary. Simply choosing the closest hiding spot is not always the best strategy. Think about what could happen if the seeker walks toward your location.
Pay attention to open spaces as well. An area may look safe when you enter it, but it can become dangerous if the seeker changes direction. Staying aware of your surroundings is essential throughout the entire round.
Survive until the timer ends
The next major objective is to survive for the entire time limit. You do not need to defeat the seeker or reach a specific destination. Your goal is simply to remain undetected until the countdown reaches zero.
As the timer gets closer to the end, it can be tempting to move around and collect more gems. However, taking unnecessary risks at this stage may cause you to lose the round. When only a short amount of time remains, staying hidden should usually be your priority.
Successfully surviving the entire round gives you a satisfying sense of achievement. It also encourages you to learn from previous attempts and improve your hiding strategy.
Collect as many gems as possible
Gems add another layer of challenge to Hide and Seek. You should try to collect as many gems as possible while still keeping your character safe. These collectibles can encourage you to explore more of the map instead of staying in one location for the entire round.
However, gems should not distract you from the main objective. A gem in an exposed location may not be worth the risk if the seeker is nearby. Before moving toward a collectible, check your surroundings and make sure you have enough time to return to a safe position.
You can gradually improve your results by learning where gems usually appear and identifying which ones can be collected safely. With practice, you can become more efficient at gathering rewards without making your character too easy to find.
