On phones and tablets, Greedy Rabbit uses on-screen buttons.
The left and right buttons are located in the lower-left area.
The jump and high-jump buttons are located in the lower-right area.
The high-jump control can also be used twice for a double jump.
Although Greedy Rabbit is a simple browser platformer, it includes several mechanics that make the levels more interesting. Players need to deal with changing platforms, floating bubbles, locked gates, moving clouds, and dangerous traps.
Breakable platforms are an important part of many levels. They can help you reach areas that are otherwise difficult to access, but they can also disappear after being used.
Some exits can only be reached by making a high jump from a breakable platform. This means you need to think about when to land on or break the platform instead of using it immediately.
In some stages, using a breakable platform at the wrong moment can make the current route impossible. Fortunately, you can restart the level and try the puzzle again.
Bubbles provide another way to move vertically. The rabbit can enter a bubble and float upward, allowing access to higher areas.
Some levels require you to ride a bubble toward a breakable platform and then time your jump carefully. You may need to leave the bubble at exactly the right moment to reach the next platform or the exit.
Other stages place breakable platforms above a bubble. In this situation, you may need to break the platform before entering the bubble. These small interactions turn simple movement into a timing challenge.
Some paths are blocked by gates. Keys are placed around the level so that you can unlock these barriers and continue exploring.
This encourages players to look around instead of always moving directly toward the portal. A key may be located on another platform or behind a small jumping challenge, so planning your route can save time and prevent unnecessary mistakes.
Moving cloud platforms add motion to the levels. Unlike fixed platforms, they change position, so you need to observe their movement before jumping.
Timing is important when using these clouds. Jumping too early or too late can send the rabbit into a dangerous area, especially when spikes or blades are nearby.
Spikes and chopping blades are the main hazards in Greedy Rabbit. Touching either one causes the rabbit to die and restarts the current level from the beginning.
Because the game provides unlimited continues, dying does not permanently remove progress. Instead, you can immediately try the same level again and use what you learned from the previous attempt.
Greedy Rabbit has 45 levels, and they are unlocked in sequence. You begin with the available early stages and unlock the next levels by completing the previous ones. Previously completed levels can also be replayed.
The 45 stages are divided across three themed worlds:
Each world has its own main vegetable theme, giving the game some visual variety as you progress.
There is also a fourth tomato-themed world that the developer planned, but its final 15 stages were never added to the game. Therefore, the playable game currently contains the three completed worlds and 45 available levels.
The levels use a mixture of platforming mechanics rather than repeating exactly the same layout. Common elements include:
Some stages focus mainly on jumping, while others require more careful timing with bubbles and breakable platforms. This variety keeps the 45-stage progression from feeling like one repeated obstacle course.
